Trinity's
Mission Statement
Trinity Presbyterian is a
welcoming and supportive Christian church, committed to developing a stronger and deeper faith in Jesus Christ,
demonstrating God's love for others, and responding to the Holy Spirit
through care, education, worship and
involvement in family, community and the world.
Deepen your
Faith
At Trinity Presbyterian, our doors and hearts
are open to everyone -- toddlers, teens, older adults and everyone in
between. We believe every person is a beloved child of God.
Words people use to describe this community
of faith are loving, nurturing, supportive, and active.
In many ways, we operate as an extended family. We build
relationships across the generations, offering tangible help in times of
trouble and celebrating joyful occasions together. We are truly
a community of faith that pays attention to each person, prays for one
another and gathers to praise God.
Our worship services
and Christian Education programs deepen your faith and bring delight to
your heart.
Develop your Friendships
Children develop lasting bonds at
Trinity. They build relationships with God, with adults, and with
each other. On Sunday morning, you can see inviting classrooms
filled with color and life. You can hear children singing, and you
know that this is a church that truly welcomes children.
 Sunday
school teachers have a variety of backgrounds -- professional teaching
experience, advanced degrees in arts and music, family life. What
they have in common is an appreciation and love for children. Through
junior high and senior high activities, teens build strong friendships
with their peers, travel to Mexico for mission work trips and explore
their faith. They attend camp at our Presbyterian Camp Clearwater
and volunteer their time at local food shelters and by tutoring students
in need. We want to give our children
a solid Biblical background, good role models and a chance to know Jesus
as their constant companion and guiding light.
Expand your Mind
Adults at Trinity gather on Sunday mornings
for stimulating discussions of social issues and scriptural lessons.
Topics have included world religions, racism, poverty in our backyard,
work life, and relationships. We offer Bible study and other
small-group discussions during the week. We
can sing in our choir, tutor children at a local teen center, serve supper
at a homeless shelter, take part in our annual mission trip, or volunteer
at "Elder Friends," a weekly ecumenical senior day program at
Trinity. We host social activities throughout the year.
Trinity members have fun together, whether we're serving at an area
mission opportunity or attending our church mystery party. Please
consider joining us this Sunday for worship. |
