Deacons and Elders are elected leaders who are ordained and installed to their elected ministry.  Individuals must be members of Trinity in order to be elected to the offices of Deacon or Elder.

Deacon

The office of deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Persons of spiritual character, honest repute, of exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, warm sympathies, and sound judgment should be chosen for this office.  It is a ministry of caring; a ministry of love; a ministry of compassion; and a ministry of prayer, and community service.

Elder

Being Presbyterian elder is a high calling, a unique opportunity to offer servant leadership to the congregation, and an experience of spiritual growth. The Presbyterian Church Book of Order defines the role of a ruling elder and the qualifications of those called to serve in this capacity.

Youth Group Volunteers
Youth Group provides our 6th – 12th grade students with many opportunities to build relationships through fun, faith and fellowship. A variety of activities (lock-ins, overnights, fundraisers, retreats, mission trips, etc.) are held throughout the year. Committed adults assist and build relationships with teenagers for fun, support and encouragement – specifically to help them know Jesus Christ personally. Contact: the church office at 651-738-0045.

Sunday School Teachers

Teachers help nurture the faith of children ages Pre-K through 5th grade through the lessons they teach, the faith they share, and the kindness they show toward the children. Sunday school teachers rotate, teaching one Sunday each month. Contact:  the church office at 651-738-0045.

Childcare on Sunday mornings is provided by able and caring staff, but volunteers are sometimes needed to help during various other programs. Please contact:  the church office at 651-738-0045.
